Product Data Administrator

Newport, South Wales. Competitive salary

We’re on the hunt for a Product Data Administrator to join our Digital team and assist with the creation and ongoing management of products on our website. Workwearsupermarket.com currently lists over 5000 products and we will be increasing the product count significantly over the next 12 months.

The Role

  • Create and maintain web product listings, ensuring all products are up-to-date, accurate and presented in accordance with website guidelines
  • Cleaning, reformatting and structuring product information from suppliers
  • Optimising listings, enriching data with attributes for product filters and mananging data taxonomies to offer the best shopping experience for customers
  • Managing stock feeds and product pricing, keeping the website up-to-date at all times
  • Managing all product-level digital assets (eg. photos, videos, guides, sizing etc.)
  • Using software / tools to create templates to speed-up / automate repetitive data tasks
  • Publishing products to the website using the web backend and CSV imports
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the Digital team to improve SEO performance

The Person

  • Must have very strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and be comfortable working with large datasets
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good standard of IT / data entry skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • An enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills
  • Very organised, a fast-learner and takes ownership of tasks
  • A keen interest in web technologies, SEO and eCommerce is a big advantage
  • A natural problem-solver and self-starter with the ability to manage their own workload.

Digital Marketing Executive

Newport, South Wales. Competitive salary

We’re on the hunt for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our Digital team and help develop the business and promote our website. We’re an established, primarily B2B business at the very start of our digital journey, and the successful person will play a huge part in expanding our digital footprint, driving traffic to our website and growing the business.

The Role

  • Help develop and implement the marketing strategy and oversee all advertising activities
  • Build brand awareness and customer engagement, running all social media channels
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of the website (adding products, creating promotions, stock and pricing updates etc.)
  • Track marketing and SEO performance, analysing data and producing reports
  • Work with suppliers and partners to develop commercial opportunities
  • Produce creative web content, including landing pages, blog posts, infographics and videos

The Person

  • Digitally savvy all-rounder, able to create a coordinated marketing plan for all sales channels.
  • A good understanding of the basic principles of SEO.
  • Comfortable using MS Excel / Google Sheets and working with large datasets. to analyse performance and inform decisions.
  • Very organised, a fast-learner and takes ownership of their tasks.
  • An excellent writer – the role will involve creating content for the website.
  • Must have some experience in some of the following Google analytics, Google ads, email marketing, social advertising, content writing / marketing, A/B testing.
  • Basic HTML, CSS knowledge is essential.
  • A keen interest in design and UX principles.
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of ecommerce processes and the key considerations of transactional websites would be useful.
  • A natural problem-solver and self-starter with the ability to manage their own workload.
  • And finally, perhaps most importantly of all, curiosity. We need someone who is inquisitive, eager to learn and shows initiative

The Role

  • Build major new functionality on workwearsupermarket.com
  • Build robust integrations between the website and business systems applications to optimise business processes
  • Assist the Digital Director to research new software and grow the digital eco-system of business applications
  • Optimise the websites codebase to ensure its efficient, compliant and blazing fast
  • Build easy-to-use re-usable templates for content creators to use on the website
  • Create and maintain software documentation

  • PHP (experience using TWIG templating engine)

  • A keen interest and good understanding of UX principles along with an eye for design would be very useful.
