We can confirm that these are indeed better than your typical waterproof trousers. Due to this product being sealtex, the finish to the product has a lot more care and quality added to it. These will also last a lot longer than the your typical hi vis waterproof trouser, hence the price differnce.
in short these trousers are:
- Welded waterproof seams
- Breathable windproof and water resistant (breathable being key to your question)
