We offer embroidery and Direct-to-Film printing across a wide range of workwear. The best option depends on your garment, logo detail, intended use and the finish you want to achieve.
Premium stitched finish
Embroidery
Thread is stitched directly into the garment for a smart, durable and highly professional finish. Ideal for polos, jackets, fleeces, knitwear, caps and other heavier garments.
Excellent durability
Strong premium appearance
Ideal for chest logos and names
Sharp, full-colour detail
Direct-to-Film Print
DTF transfers detailed, full-colour artwork onto garments. It is particularly effective for intricate logos, gradients, larger designs and branding that needs a smooth, vibrant finish.
Full-colour artwork
Fine detail and gradients
Great for front, back and sleeve prints
Built stitch by stitch
Application method 01
Embroidered workwear
Before a logo can be embroidered, it must be digitised into a specialist stitch file. This tells the embroidery machine where to place every stitch, which thread colours to use and in what order the design should be produced.
For the cleanest result, very fine text and tiny details may need to be simplified. We will review your artwork and produce a proof before production where required.
Best suited to durable, premium branding
Thread colours matched as closely as possible
Standard left or right chest logos are usually compact
Large back embroidery is assessed individually

Digitising explained
Your logo becomes a stitch file
A normal JPG, PNG, PDF or vector file cannot be sent directly to an embroidery machine. It first needs to be recreated as a digitised embroidery file.
The final result can vary slightly from the original screen artwork because thread has physical thickness and needs enough space to form clean shapes and lettering.
Important: Keep very small text to a minimum. We may recommend increasing the logo size or removing tiny detail to protect legibility.
Full-colour DTF print
Application method 02
Printed, Direct-to-Film (DTF)
DTF printing uses a specialist printed transfer, adhesive powder, heat and pressure to apply your design to the garment. It is a versatile choice for high-detail artwork and multi-colour logos.
Unlike embroidery, printed artwork does not need to be rebuilt as stitches. However, the quality of the supplied file still directly affects the quality of the finished print.
Ideal for highly detailed logos
Supports gradients and many colours
Suitable for larger front and back designs
Clean, consistent finish across an order
Artwork guidelines
Supplying your logo correctly
The better the source artwork, the cleaner and more accurate the finished branding. Vector files are preferred wherever possible, particularly for print.

Raster vs vector
Why vector artwork is best
Raster files are made from pixels. When enlarged, they can become blurred or jagged. Vector artwork is built from mathematical shapes, so it can be resized without losing sharpness.
A large, high-resolution PNG may still be suitable, but screenshots, social-media downloads and small website logos often do not contain enough detail for professional production.
Best result: Send the original logo file supplied by your designer rather than copying an image from a website or document.
Colour matching
Provide Pantone references
Screen colours can appear differently between devices. When brand colour accuracy matters, provide Pantone references or your official brand guidelines with the order.
We will match embroidery thread and printed colour as closely as the available process and garment colour allow. Some variation can occur between screen displays, print, thread and different fabric bases.
Fonts and typography
Embed fonts or convert them to paths
Fonts used in your logo may not be installed on another computer. Missing fonts can cause wording to change appearance when a file is opened.
To avoid this, embed the fonts in the supplied PDF or convert all text to outlines, paths or curves before saving the final artwork.
Illustrator: Create Outlines
CorelDRAW: Convert to Curves
Affinity Designer: Convert to Curves

Frequently asked questions
Artwork & customisation FAQs
Vector artwork such as AI, EPS, SVG or a properly created PDF is best. A high-resolution transparent PNG can also work, but small screenshots and images copied from websites should be avoided.
Yes, provided it is large and clear enough. For print, a 300 DPI file at the intended production size is preferred. We will assess the artwork and contact you if a better file is needed.
Embroidery machines cannot read a normal image file. The logo must be converted into stitch instructions that control stitch direction, density, colour sequence and underlay.
We match colours as closely as possible. Providing Pantone references or brand guidelines helps. Exact appearance may vary between screens, printed ink, embroidery thread and different fabric colours.
Logo size depends on the garment, position and artwork proportions. Standard chest logos are generally kept compact and professional, while large front and back designs are sized to suit the printable area.
Yes. You can add multiple customisation positions to your selected garments, including combinations of embroidery and print where suitable.
Personalised goods are made specifically for you and generally cannot be returned unless they are faulty or supplied incorrectly. Check all sizes, colours, quantities and artwork details carefully before approval.
