The easy wins

Six things to try first

If anything looks unusual, these quick checks solve many normal device and connection issues.

  1. Use the official app-store link above.
  2. Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data is working.
  3. Make sure your phone has free storage.
  4. Check the app store for an update.
  5. Close the app and reopen it.
  6. Restart your phone if needed.
Before uninstalling: Workwear reminders and My Sizes notes are kept locally on your device. Deleting the app or clearing app data may erase them, so save anything important first.

01 / Downloads

Installing the app

Most download issues come from the phone, its app store or a local setting.

I can't find Workwear Portal in the App Store or Google Play.

Use the official iPhone App Store link or Android Google Play link above. The listing is called Workwear Portal and is published by Workwear Supermarket. Check that you are using the store for your device, rather than searching for the main Workwear Supermarket shopping website.

The download is stuck on 'Waiting', 'Pending' or 'Installing'.

Check that Wi-Fi or mobile data is working and that your phone has free storage. Pause and resume the download if the store allows it. If it stays pending, restart your phone, reopen the App Store or Google Play and try again. Any Apple Account or Google Play download problems are managed through the relevant app store.

The store says the app isn't compatible with my device.

Check the compatibility information shown on the app's store listing, and install any available phone operating-system updates. Some older devices or OS versions may not be supported. You can still access the B2B portal in your mobile browser while using a compatible device.

The app is unavailable in my region or the store won't allow installation.

Availability can depend on your app-store country, device settings or organisation's restrictions. Check your Apple/Google account region and store settings. If your phone is managed by your employer, speak to your IT administrator. You can use the browser portal in the meantime.

The app installed, but I can't see the icon.

On iPhone, swipe to the App Library and search for Workwear Portal. On Android, open the app drawer and search for the same name. You can also return to the store listing and tap Open. Some phones do not automatically place new apps on the Home Screen.

Apple or Google asks me to verify my account before installing.

Follow the App Store or Google Play sign-in or device-verification prompt. This is part of your phone's download process, not your Workwear Supermarket B2B login. If the store account is locked or cannot install apps, use your Apple/Google support options.

I have a company phone and the app download is blocked.

Some work devices restrict app installations, permissions or access to the app stores. Your organisation's IT administrator can check whether the phone is allowed to install Workwear Portal. Alternatively, use the B2B browser portal.

02 / Everyday fixes

Opening & using the app

Simple checks for the occasional phone or connection hiccup.

The app doesn't open or closes straight away.

Close the app fully and open it again. Check for a Workwear Portal update in your app store, then restart your phone if needed. If the issue continues, check your device's software version and internet connection. Reinstall only as a last resort: locally saved My Sizes notes and reminders may be removed when you delete the app.

I see a blank screen or something is taking a long time to load.

Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to test the connection, then close and reopen the app. Check whether the B2B portal opens in your browser. Temporary mobile-network, VPN or workplace-network restrictions can affect pages loading. If the browser portal works, it is a handy alternative for ordering.

A button, shortcut or page isn't opening.

Make sure you have an internet connection, close and reopen the app and install any available update. Some shortcuts open the existing B2B web portal, which requires an active connection and your approved portal login. Try the portal directly if needed.

How do I update Workwear Portal?

Open the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. Find Workwear Portal and select Update if it is offered. If the button says Open, no manual update is currently offered by that store for your device.

Should I delete and reinstall the app?

Only after trying a normal restart and any available app update. Before deleting: copy any important My Sizes notes and reminder information to a safe place. Those tools are stored on the device and deleting the app or clearing its storage can remove that information. Your B2B portal orders and account are separate from these local notes.

03 / Portal access

Sign-in, accounts & ordering

Your business login and orders are handled through the existing Workwear Supermarket B2B portal.

I've installed the app. How do I sign in?

Open Workwear Portal, choose the portal/ordering option and sign in using your approved Workwear Supermarket B2B account. The app is not a public shopping app and does not create a new trade account automatically. See the full portal guide for a walkthrough.

I haven't had my login or welcome email.

If your business already has an approved account, start at the account activation and password page using your approved email address. Check your inbox and junk folder. If your account has not yet been set up, request a business/trade account.

I've forgotten my password or my sign-in details don't work.

Use the activation and password reset page, then sign in with the email address associated with your approved B2B account. Avoid creating unrelated accounts. If the account still cannot be accessed, use the B2B contact page for account assistance.

I can sign in, but some products or prices are missing.

Each business can have its own approved catalogue, brands, pricing, colours and ordering rules. What you see may be determined by your company's account setup rather than your phone. Ask your company account administrator or contact the WSM B2B team if an item you are authorised to order is missing.

An order is pending or needs approval.

Some business accounts have order approval rules. Check the order's status in the portal and follow your company's normal approval process. If you are unsure who authorises orders, contact your company account administrator. The app itself does not override approval rules.

I'm not sure whether my order went through.

Check the portal's order history and any order confirmation before placing it again. This helps avoid duplicates. If the status or payment is unclear, contact the WSM team with the order number or company name; don't submit the same order repeatedly.

Can I use the portal without the app?

Yes. Sign in from a desktop, tablet or mobile browser at the Workwear Supermarket B2B portal. The app provides quick access and useful on-device tools; the full ordering system remains available in your browser.

04 / App tools

Reminders, My Sizes & notifications

These optional tools are useful on the go and are kept locally on your device.

My workwear reminder didn't appear.

Check that notifications are allowed for Workwear Portal in your phone's Settings > Notifications. Also check Focus/Do Not Disturb modes and, on Android, any battery restrictions affecting notifications. Open the app to check that the reminder was created for the intended date.

Do I need to enable notifications to order?

No. Notifications are for optional app reminders. You can still open your B2B portal and place orders without allowing reminder notifications.

My Sizes notes aren't on my other phone or in my B2B account.

That's expected. My Sizes is an optional local note feature, not a cloud-synced staff database. Notes saved on one device do not automatically appear on a second device or in the browser portal.

Will My Sizes automatically choose sizes when I order?

No. Saved measurements and size notes are for reference only. Always select and confirm the correct product sizes, colours and quantities inside the B2B portal before placing an order.

Will my notes and reminders remain if I change phones or uninstall?

Do not assume they will. My Sizes entries and app reminders are stored on the device, so deleting the app, resetting the phone, clearing app storage or changing devices may remove them. Record anything important before taking those steps.

Still need a hand?

Still struggling to install Workwear Portal?

It should be a simple download and sign-in, but every phone and app store works a little differently. If you are still having trouble with App Store or Google Play downloads, device compatibility, phone settings or a company-managed device, Apple, Google or your company's IT team can help with those settings.

For WSM business account access, approved product ranges or an order query, our Workwear Supermarket team can help.

For account queries, share your business name and a brief description (and order number if relevant). Please never send passwords or card details.

Prefer a browser? Open the B2B portal. For more guidance, see the full Workwear Portal guide.
